DOR BioPharma, Inc. (DOR) is a biopharmaceutical company committed to the development of life-saving therapeutics and vaccines. The company has two areas of focus: 1) a therapeutics platform dedicated to the development of products for life-threatening conditions such as gastrointestinal Graft-versus-Host disease and cancer, and 2) a biodefense platform developing vaccines for military and civilian application.

BIOTHERAPEUTICS

DOR BioPharma, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company developing products for life-threatening side effects of cancer treatments, serious gastrointestinal diseases, and bioterrorism. Our lead product, orBec® (oral beclomethasone dipropionate), is a potent, locally-acting corticosteroid being developed for the treatment of gastrointestinal Graft-versus-Host disease (GI GVHD), a common and potentially life-threatening complication of bone marrow transplantation. DOR BioPharma has recently filed a New Drug Application (NDA) with the FDA for orBec® for the treatment of GI GVHD.

BIODEFENSE

DOR is developing bioengineered countermeasure vaccines for ricin toxin and botulinum toxin, both of which are considered bioterrorism threats by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Institute of Allergic and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Department of Defense (DOD) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are developing our biodefense countermeasures for potential U.S. government procurement pursuant to the Project Bioshield Act of 2004.
